The clinic will comprise 5 sessions of approx 1.5 hr each covering:
A. Sweeping and communication (stop watch, position, communication, the intricate sweeping interactions of the team) - Lead by Jenn Omand Desrochers, provincial champion, trained coach.
B. Weight control (how to be more consistent with weight, drills to practice on your own, muscle memory, understanding how weight is produced) - Lead by Susan Froud, world champion, trained coach.
C. Detect and correct (basic principles, the sequences completely broken down, how rhythm is key to increase weight without affecting line) - Led by Kerry Lacquie, world champion, trained coach
D. Video analysis (several videos of each player will be reviewed and analysed, videos to be sent to each player afterwards) - Lead by Al Corbeil, coordinator, certified competition coach.
E. Closing with a group session on strategy and what conditions dictate the play, understanding rock positioning, and how score and end played are the main drivers. Realizing how lead rocks are so important.
